About this villa rental
Enjoy life in this truly unique farmhouse from the 16th century with a spectacular view overlooking Lucca and the valley surrounding. Relax in the faithfully restored wine cellar or enjoy the Tuscan sun next to the pool in a beautiful rose garden. All amenities are available for your comfort: private swimming pool (36ftx18ft-12mtx6mt), foosball and pingpong, satellite TV, DVD, stereo, WIFI(house WiFi and portable WiFi), wood fireplace and grill, dishwasher and washing-machine. Maid service, Cooking service, Babysitting, and Cooking lessons available.
The farmhouse sits on its own 16 acre olive grove. It is very private and yet 20 minutes from Lucca, 40min. from Pisa, 45min. from Florence, 1hr. from Cinque Terre and Porto Fino. All destinations are reachable via train. Many other short day trips can expose you and your company to ancient history, adventure, and nature (the Mediterranean see and Apuane Alps are 30min. away). The villa is walking distance from the village and great home-style restaurants.
Although this residence is large, it sleeps only 8 for privacy

Refreshing in the pool was great during the hot hours, and enjoyed visiting the nearby towns in the evenings. Do we really need to leave? ...Oh well... To next year :)

A very nice and spacious country house, restored and decorated with care. Highlights: the beautiful garden, the large pool and the excellent view! The owner and caretaker are very friendly and helpful. There’s so much activities to do and nature to explore but when it’s extremely hot, as we experienced, the pool and the BBQ are the two most important features of this house. Having the ‘pizza night’ as a paid optional service where home made pizzas are being prepared in the pizza oven (including all prep and leaving the kitchen all cleaned up) is highly recommended! If you are not an experienced driver or if you have a big car, driving up and down the hill to and from the house could be a challenge, but the location is breathtaking so it’s worth the trouble!

Two weeks easy day trips to Lucca, Pisa, Florence and Beaches. Pool is the crown jewel it is very well maintained and a great size, could not get family out. 4 restaurants within walking distance and we visited 2 wineries in the area as well. Would love to come back.

After spending our first week in Italy in Rome, Florence and Pisa sightseeing, we arrived at the villa. What a wonderful place up in the hills overlooking Lucca, total relaxation. The house is very spacious lovely big rooms and very comfortable and welcoming, the outside area is well equipped with a large table and chairs and of course the huge swimming pool which is well maintained. Myself my husband and two teenagers had a great week here and we were sorry to leave, hope to return one day 😁

We visited this beautiful property in early July and were very happy with the house, amenities, and surroundings. One of the best surprises was that both the sunrise and sunset are visible from inside the house and from the patio and pool. The interior of the house is restored with great attention to details. There is a breathtaking view over the valley below that includes the moonrise behind the hills in the evening. During the day we enjoyed the warm sun and dips in the pool, as well as the cooler air inside the house. Our kids had a good time renting bikes and riding up the mountain roads, walking for pizza at the local restaurant, swimming at any time of day or night, and playing tag among the olive trees. It was easy to drive to Lucca for shopping and strolling. Highly recommended.
