Room was lovely and huge! Bathroom facilities worked perfectly and we were provided with fresh water and toilet paper daily. The hotel is about 10/15 minute walk from Walking Street, however, it is a lovely quiet stay.

PROS The rooms were a good size. I had different rooms and I liked the big windows in the older rooms. The rooms seemed fairly clean despite everything being old and broken. CONS Pai is very dry, so many things are dry and dusty. That is not the hotel's fault. But the website photos are very, very misleading. The hotel is old and everything is very rundown. I didn't like the 2 large dogs barking (aggressively) at me every time I walked in. If a hotel has dogs, they should at least train them to accept guests. Pool is very cloudy. (If that's due to the salt/cleaning product, they should put a sign saying that.) Hotel looked very empty, but when I arrived at 1pm, they said that I could not check-in until 2pm. (Baring in mind that it's 37 degrees outside, 300+ pm2.5, the hotel is a 20 minute walk from the town, and the government has sent warnings to everyone's phone saying it's dangerous to be outside.) I've not experienced that in Thailand before.

Honestly I’m not usually too fussy, the pool is decent and you get what you pay for. The rooms are standard air con works mostly, the rooms are decorated hideously (outdated) and generally not the most clean but you get water every day the bed was clean and the people are lovely so if your cheap like me the it’s fine but if you have medium standards you might not love it
