About this house rental
Welcome to Amarula Estates! A perfect getaway for family reunions, vacations, and small conferences. Please bear in mind that we charge a fee if you plan to invite numerous outside guests.
Amarula Estates is on an 11-acre property in a tranquil setting on the Tomoka River yet still in the heart of the Daytona Beach area. Just 15 minutes to the beach and approximately one hour to Disney World.
The estate offers a fully equipped bar, jacuzzi & sauna, infinity swimming pool, and accommodation for up to 24 guests. The gourmet kitchen allows room for several cooks to share their culinary talents while fellow guests relax in the spacious open living and dining rooms.
Five of the eight bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms and the remaining two bedrooms have detached bathrooms.
A large back patio has plenty of seating and is ideal for grilling enjoyable meals for a large group. Outside lighting lends a relaxed ambiance in the evenings.
The 500 ft walkway takes you to two spacious docks on the river, and one can use paddleboards canoes, and kayaks that are provided free of charge.
Access to the inter-coastal waterway by boat. 15 mins to the beach, 4 mins to shops, 12 mins to the speedway. Unlimited parking for cars, bikes, and trailers. We want you to enjoy your stay with us.
Amarula Estates named after the Marula tree, as the source of several fascinating legends, has become a sacred and intricate part of ancient African culture. Locals have revered these trees for centuries and refer to them fondly by various names.
Because elephants travel for miles to feast on the wild fruit, locals call it ‘The Elephant Tree’. African folklore also refers to it as ‘The Marriage Tree’. Apart from making a beautifully natural wedding canopy, it’s also said to have aphrodisiac properties and features in tribal fertility rites. The ripening of the Marula fruit in summer coincides with great celebrations in many parts of Southern Africa. In Swaziland, for example, the annual Marula Festival is celebrated at the king’s royal residence, sustaining the belief that the Marula fruit is fit for kings and queens.

The house is beautiful, the pool is beautiful. The house is very spacious. There are plenty of refrigerator spaces. The beds are more on the firm side. There is not a gym anymore, which was fine. We were too busy to workout. The beach is about 17 minutes away. The quaint little town is not really there. I watched videos and they were not accurate. Walmart is right down the road, along with some other stores. We had a great time inside and outdoors. All of it was wonderful, we hated to leave. The only issue we had was there was pet hair all over. The first day we were there we swept and vacuumed the living room due to the pet hair and the blankets on the couch had pet hair. We didn't bring any pets. Overall, like i said, it was all wonderful. Even though the contact person is right on site, we didn't hardly see them. It is a magnificent house.

Opulent property in a secluded place but very convenient to shopping and the beach. Enjoyed the hot tub and the pontoon boat ride down the Tomoka river with Rob, the property manager/captain narrating the interesting lores of the are.

Yes, it is everything as advertised!
I scheduled a 5-day retreat for 11 of us to celebrate two milestone birthdays. My friends did not know one another before they arrived. To a person, I was told what a gift I gave them to be surrounded by beauty but also an opportunity to renew. Because I wanted each person to have a private room, I also booked the 4-bedroom cottage on the property.
We took advantage of EVERYTHING. On a daily basis, we used the pool, sauna, and jacuzzi. We headed to St. Augustine for the Christmas light show. Given we were minutes away from the ocean, we made two trips. The kitchen was perfect for cooking a special dinner for the birthday celebrations. On Sunday, the onsite manager Rob took us on a pontoon ride that I highly recommend. And friends also kayaked on the river.
Rob was great and even interrupted his evening to take pictures of everyone after the birthday celebration. I’d highly recommend a stay at Amarula Estates. We wanted to stay longer.
