Cable car, skisport facilities 100 m, children's playground 30 m. Well-known lakes can easily be reached: Thunersee 13 km, Brienzersee 13 km. Please note: car-free holiday complex. Arrival via mountain railway. Arrival is only possible by train from Lauterbrunnen – 14 minutes driving time.

We arrived a little after the offices were closed due to the weather so unfortunately I could not visit the office in person first day, but was given instructions on how to proceed with checking in. We were thoroughly impressed with the views of the apartment along with the amenities provided in the apartment. Our stay in the apartment was overall wonderful and we all truly loved Wengen so much that we all agreed to come visit another time!

The apartment is great, even better than it looked in the photos. Well located. Large living room, with sofa and balcony with a spectacular view of the mountains. The kitchen was well equipped, with enough cutlery and crockery for even a larger group. We only missed a few basic cooking items, like oil. And a washing machine, but this seems to be an item that does not exist in rental accommodation in Switzerland. Spacious bedroom, comfortable beds, good sized bathroom with great shower.

Great value with one big flaw

The apartment is spacious, with a great view and fully equipped kitchen. But there is one big problem which can possibly ruin your vacation, there noise insulation from the apartment next door is extremely poor, so you will literally hear everything that is being said in the apartment next to you, every thump sound, tap openning, the sound of running water, etc. Needles to say that the property managers failed to warn us about this issue, nor did they offer any compensation. Anyone planning to rent this property is playing the lottery (unless you're that kind of person who doesn't like to sleep). Also bare in mind that the property is close to the local church which means that you will hear the lovely sound of bells ringing every hour 24/7 and a short ring every half an hour.

It was our (family of four with 2 kids) first interhome stay and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The apartment was very comfortable with all the amenities and in one of the Best Scenic places in Switzerland and Indian food & supermarket very nearby (for those whom it matters). We would certainly recommend it to everyone. Only one concern - It was a bit far from Interlaken and daily our 45 minutes (one way) went into this.

Very nicely appointed chalet with an excellent kitchen. This one bedroom, two room chalet is a great place to explore the Bernese-Oberland region of the Swiss alps. This place sleeps 2 adults comfortably and could accommodate two small children, although it would be a little tight. Great balconies facing the mountains. We had a small miscommunication regarding wifi. The ad says it is provided, but it wasn't. It turned out we would have had to ask for it and paid extra. Also, bring your own shampoo and soap because nothing is provided. I would stay here over and over. This is a great location for those seeking access to the Alps. Two grocery stores in the area to buy food for hiking and cut some costs of eating meals at restaurants.

Die Wohnung ist grosszügig und sie hatte alles was man braucht. Das neue Bad ist wunderschön. Leider wenig Stauraum ( Schrank) für Kleider war, war alles besetzt. Wir waren zu zweit, so ging es gerade. Die Wohnung war sehr warm, für uns zu warm.

Die Wohnung ist ideal zentral gelegen, die Küche ist neu und sehr praktisch eingerichtet und der Hammer ist das brandneue Badezimmer! Meeega toll geworden, herzliche Gratulation! Die Wohnung wird immer sehr sauber vom Interhome-Team übergeben. Herzlichen Dank dafür, das erlebe ich nicht in allen Ferienwohnungen so. Wir kommen auch nächstes Jahr gerne wieder.

Sehr schöne und gemütliche Ferienunterkunft. Da kann man es geniessen! Einziger Nachteil: Kein WLAN. Kann aber für 20 Fr. pro Woche im Bernerhof gekauft werden. Internet vorhanden.

Aangenaam voor 2 personen, ruime slaapkamer en leefgedeelte, met een balkon gericht op de middag - en avondzon. Vlakbij de skilift, en winkels dichtbij. Keukenmateriaal zeker in orde. Jammer dat voor WIFI extra betaald moet worden. Dit lijkt me verouderd.

Da wir seit bald 40 Jahren nach Wengen in die Ferien gehen, war uns die tolle Lage der Unterkunft bekannt. Die Küche ist ganz neue gemacht und ist bestens eingerichtet, der Rest der Einrichtung ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen (Esstischstühle waren teilweise gefährlich zum Sitzen!), wird aber dennoch gut gepflegt. Wir kommen gerne wieder!
