Gar Anat Hotel Boutique - Domus Artis

This is one of the sweetest stays I've had in Europe. Some hotels decorate so it looks good in photos, but this little hotel is just genuinely appointed with so much care to detail. Even from the moment you arrive, the front desk area smells amazing and you are greeted by the loveliest staff. I wish I could have stayed longer... one thing to note... they have a lovely tea room downstairs in what feels like a wine cellar as well as a small library and a lovely courtyard. I would highly recommend this place and its located in a great spot and it is accessible by tax / car (some of the streets in Grenada are more like paths!).

I got my room last moment and it was one of the smaller rooms. If I come back I will book in advance for a larger room... but honestly it did not impact my trip for a short a visit. The room was really lovely even though a little small.

Locations is walkable to everything. Beautiful building with central courtyard area and gorgeous furnishings. The breakfast room is a cistern from the 16th century. Staff is amazing. They held an art opening when we were there, and we ended up buying a painting from the Artist and saw the same scene the next day at the Alhambra. This was a very memorable stay for us

I loved everything but if you have young children, this is probably not the place for you.

Staff were fantastic. Location great for main tourist sites. Plenty of restaurants/ cafes nearby.

Pillows were lumpy and uncomfortable. Air con was temperamental in some rooms.

Location was excellent. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Good breakfast with the added bonus of Carmen's delicious cake available for tea which we could make in the communal dining cellar. Good collection of books and good recommendations of restaurants and tapas bars. A nice covered central courtyard. Would definitely book again.
