The staff were excellent. Polite and friendly & very helpful. I personally found the bed very comfortable but others may find them slightly on the firmer side. The shower was powerful and easy to control the temperature.
The decore was generally quite tired. The wallpaper in our room was peeling away from the edges & joins from age. In the bathroom, whilst it was spotlessly clean, the white sealant around the bathtub/shower had lots of black mould in it. This as anyone knows is almost impossible to clean. So not the fault of the cleaners. This can only be rectified by removing it and reapplying new sealant. The aircon did work but wasn't very efficient. We used our own fans to help keep us comfortable. Overall it's a nice hotel but is in need of updating.
