The hotel was very well located for San Pantaleo (although it is a very small town) It had a car parking area next door, although there was a daily charge for this. The pool looked nice, although we didn't swim. The receptionists were very welcoming and spoke perfect English. They were helpful and had suggestions for places and walks.
The attached restaurant upstairs (L'Assaggio) was excellent and we had a delicious meal and even went back again the next night.
This is not a real problem, but there is no facility for eating here. This didn't matter as you can eat in centre/square which was so close (5 mins). Perhaps some milk in fridge for tea making. It was a little noisy at night (local dogs barking, but this is not a fault of the hotel). Some rooms have much better views than others. Not manned during night. Again this wasn't a problem for us.

Lovely staff and breakfast, room was neat and functional, bed firm. Pool nice and cool in the heat.
Beware room 8 is under a restaurant kitchen, clattering and banging until all hours. Luckily I was tired enough to not be too disturbed by this.

Nice location to explore this cute village
Our room had a strong humidity odor so we had to keep the window open all night.
