Air con broke on day two

After arriving on the boat from the airport, it is simply crossing the road to the hotel. The room and the bathroom was large, the wardrobe was massive, and the view over the water to Venice was incredible. Hotel is furnished with classical furniture and decor. The lounge areas are a delight and comfortable. The restaurant can be accessed from inside the hotel if desired, and there is an incredible ice cream parlor all made with fresh ingredients. Extremely well situated for many restaurants, walks , buses, and boats.

Hard question when there is everything to like.

Perfect location just across the road from the vaporetto pier with a good selection of shops and restaurants within a short walk. Lovely, spacious room of traditional appearance but with modern facilities. Very comfortable bed, well-equipped bathroom. Excellent heating/air conditioning. The hotel has a lift/elevator.

At the time of our stay, the hotel bistrot was closed except for breakfast. It opened fully on 1 April but that was after we left. Do check before booking!

The location of this hotel is very good. Right in the center of the Lido and you can walk to the beach. A lot of shops and restaurants are close to the hotel which is also good. The water taxi to Venice and the airport is literally across the street from this hotel which also makes the location a good one.

This hotel is OLD. And I mean, this hotel looks like it has not had a solid renovation for at least 40 years and this is not an exaggeration. Rooms are old and they are showing their age. There is nothing new about this hotel and for some, this may be appealing and also why it can be reserved for lower prices. But just be warned that if you're expecting anything modern or new, you will be disappointed in this hotel. Everything you need is there but it just feels like you stepped into the 80s or 70s European hotel.
