Hôtel Eze Hermitage

Excellent atmosphere, food, staff

All was great except we got a room number 1 near reception and staircase so it was a bit noisy

The property was lovely and quiet , very clean and a perfect location

I live in Nice and my little dog had only left our apartment twice in two weeks during the heatwave since my apartment is the most perfectly air conditioned place in Nice. I wanted to go to a hotel with a pool and grass where my dog could loiter that wasn't too far of a Bolt ride from my place. The pool was excellent but it closed between 8pm and 9am and I like to swim when there isn't sun so I could only swim in the morning. The day of my arrival was too hot earlier in the day and there was a thunderstorm in the early evening. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and my dog and I felt very welcome. I appreciated being able to eat bacon, avocado and fresh strawberries for breakfast. The terrace with my room was pleasant for my dog.

The AC in the rooms is central and it wasn't adequate so my dog panted. At night it was cooler with the windows open but then there were mosquitos. I wish the pool hours were more extensive. In the summer the sun doesn't sent until nearly 9:30pm.

The hotel has great potential. The outside space looked nice. Parking availability good

Our room (no 7) felt and bathroom felt very tired. Cupboards next to bed looked old and dirty (not just distressed effect). I would put my clothes in them. Safe in cupboard wasn’t working or attached to anything. Bathroom felt very dated and not as expected from hotel images.
