This older establishment has a charm. The location was convenient to find and centrally located. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was simple.
The first bed I laid down in was worn on one side, in the middle. Fortunately, we were in a triple room and there was another bed. It was not as worn.

Breakfast was nice and locally authentic.
The property advertises free borrowing of bicycles. That was one of the reasons I chose it. But when I checked out, they charged me for bicycle hire. I had to go and catch a train, so didn’t have time to argue it. The air conditioner (heater) in the room did not turn on. when I raised this with staff they just said ‘oh yes, we have problems with that’, but did nothing to try and help, so I had a very cold night.
