About this cabin rental
Each of our 3 cabins are fully self-contained and well equipped with all you will need to enjoy a quiet weekend, romantic getaway or short holiday. The cabins feature reverse cycle air conditioning, electric blankets, BBQ, Satellite TV, TelstraTV for streaming video, cooking facilities, microwave, small fridge, iron and ironing board, kitchen, fully serviced with linen and towels, covered verandah, no smoking, on site parking, well behaved dogs welcome, tea/coffee making facilities, satellite television, free wifi internet. All cabins are on tank water.
You will need to bring your food and drink requirements. The nearest shopping is Mudgee township. The nearby Cooyal Hotel (5 minute drive) offers an excellent menu for lunch and dinner. There are several excellent vineyard restaurants within 15 minutes that serve seasonal menus. Some are available all week, others weekends only.
Within a 20 minute drive of Barella Cabins are many of Mudgee's famous vineyards, as well as wilderness and walking trails, including the Munghorn Gap Nature Reserve.
Historic Gulgong is 30 minutes away, and the spectacular 'Drip' near Ulan is 40 minutes away.
Alternatively, Barella Cabins is a quiet 'go nowhere' place to relax on the verandah with a book and a bottle or two of your favourite beverage watching local wildlife that come onto the property.
Cabin Configurations
Classic Cabin - Banksia - Sleeps 4, 2 in a queen bedroom, 1 in a day bed and 1 in a trundle bed, both in the lounge/dining room.
Loft Cabins - Grevillea and Myrtle - Sleeps 4, 2 in a queen bedroom, 2 in singles in the sleeping loft.
When choosing the loft accommodation, please consider that the loft is accessed by a ladder and would be unsuitable for very young children, the elderly and/or infirmed.
Pets
A well behaved dog is welcome. However, please keep your dog off the furniture, and out of the bedroom. You are expected to clean up after your dog in all areas of the property. Additional cleaning charges will be incurred if these conditions are not met.
No responsibility is accepted whatsoever for your dog. There are sheep and horses on the the property and properties adjacent as well as prolific native wild life. Unsupervised dogs may be injured or lost if they stray onto adjacent properties, or chase wildlife.
