The apartment itself was very nice. Beautifully renovated and very comfortable.
The location was extremely hard to find as Google would NOT take us there. We had to keep turning around and asking people (most did not know). The breakfast was an additional fee and was not worth the price - stale buns, prosciutto that was bad (smell was BAD) and a few pieces of cheese and cheap ham. A bottle of juice (flavored sugar water). And NO fresh fruit! For the price bad it was ridiculous.

Parking area is very convenient to access the Guest house. The room was clean and very convenient for one night's stay! Glad there was a kettle 😁
No cups for kettle use were available 😢.
Pillows were too soft.

Room was clean and modern; generous size modern bathroom with daily towel change.
We’ve stayed in some amazing places while in Slovenia and Croatia. This was place was the least hospitable place we stayed. A map to show parking lot and path to apartment complex would be helpful in the information provided.
Cons: first of all, don’t report anything negative to the owner, Mario. Instead of apologizing for the condition, he turned nasty, and accused us of smoking in the room and doing drugs. Neither of us smokes nor does drugs of any type. He also threatened us with the police all because we mentioned the dishes were used and dirty.
- It’s not a guest house, it’s a room in an apartment complex. Difficult to find. Called the host on arrival, no help by phone to assist in guiding us to the door nor as to where to park appropriately. A stranger guided us to #8.
- There are four sets of stairs to climb. Three lock systems to get through; entry to apartment complex, units (3) door and then your room door. Rather complex.
- No breakfast area. You eat in your room. Cold breakfast (see photo) delivered at 7:30 +/- to a locked cupboard in the hall. Lots of meat/cheese. I’m vegetarian and they knew this. One piece of fruit for two people.. Tea bags and 3 in 1 coffee pouches. No milk for tea, no black coffee. No cereal, no yogurt. Cereal and/or yogurt would have been great.
- Parking is a lottery. There may or may not be space for you or you sit and wait until someone leaves. Rough parking lot, angled and broken stone.
- There is a balcony in the unit but no chairs to sit on.
- No glasses in the room for water or drinks. We check the breakfast cupboard for dishware. Found utensils that were used (see photo). Advised the owners by email, no response. Another day we came back, looking for a glass for water, and found a dirty glass with old tea bag and water in the bottom. (See photo) Once again, advised the owners by email, was responded to with a threat (see first point).
- If you don’t want to drive, it’s not close the old town of Split. About a 45 minute walk.
