I’ve stayed at quite a few Joey’s properties and have always had a great experience. This stay was also really good, and a special thanks to Rahul, whom I knew from my previous Joey’s stays, for the complimentary room upgrade. It was such a nice gesture!

Just a few things that could be improved: on my first day in the dorm, a staff member removed the curtain while I was sleeping to ask about checkout, which felt quite uncomfortable. Even after moving to a private room, there was some unnecessary knocking, including the restaurant manager waking me up to invite me for dinner. I appreciate the intention, but guest privacy and rest should be respected. Also, the soap dispenser was of very poor quality and caused cuts on my hands, so I’d strongly recommend replacing it.

I liked the location and the staff especially ronak and the girl from jodhpur who were friendly.

Manu things. The hostel never went through renovation. There are no photos of the room i got which had plastering on walls, not at all like the ones shared. There was this guy when we went to have breakfast who told that we could not take food to balcony. There were no proper seating to have breakfast. Very odd. Only seats and no chair or table. While checking out, i had enquired about the breakfast payment, which the guys at reception were not interested to look into. Only when i left and reached halfway to my destination, they called me again and told to pay. It was absurd and irresponsible for reception
