Zostel Jaipur (Hawa Mahal)

See when I reached the zostel I checked in and then got a bath and then just went out to visit I came back at around 9:45 pm and then I went to bed I booked dorm so I slept when I was half asleep I heard that the phone of a person was missing so I woke up and ask him and her sister what happened they didn't response so other person told me that his phone was missing, And then they went down to check that at that time we were 4 boys there and trying to help them to find that phone now one of us said if they have suspicion then they can check our backs so the girl denied and responded to us roughly and they called the police, when police arrived both boy and girl said to police that they have doubt one of us that we stole his phone, police without any investigation of room took us to the police station they took our phone and made us to sit on the floor where they split there gutkas, and the starts playing women card and police didn't give us time to say anything, one of police officer came and said us to give the phone if stole or to contribute and buy him new phone, why do we contribute for his loose we didn't stole his phone then she said that we all are mixed but the fact we didn't even knew each other. The office again came and said that I will tell the girl to feel fir of molestation and many things to us rodly. I am 18 years old and it was my first solo trip my parents were too long from me and I was between the city full of strangers and I filled like a mental torture who will be responsible if I would be anxious and be depressed at that time, I literally cried at that moment I was like I just came jaipur to visit why this happening the other 3 boys and receptionist made me calm.(it was 1:30 Am btw) Then after many requests we went to zostel back and then police said both boy and girl to check our back they both literally scattered our packed back and it was so rude behaviour from that boy and girl and they even check our personal things but we still co-operate with them and our beds were also scattered at 2:00am they found nothing so police leaved us and still next morning the girl want to check our bag but now we didn't we said call police if they will cone you can check but still se checked one of a boy who was going to check out and still found nothing. My question is who is responsible for running our sleep? How can the police take us to the police station when we are travellers resting in a zostel? Who gives the right to the girl to check our private things when it is clear in policy that you are own responsible your thing loss. Who is responsible for the mental torture on me in the police station? Why it all happened to us when we did nothing???

A guest lost their phone and whatever followed. Next was a harrowing experience of staying in a hostel. Police was coming and checking our luggage and the staff complete allowed everything to happen. This is not Kind of experience anybody is looking for.
