KOKO HOTEL Osaka Umeda - formerly Hotel Wing International Select Osaka Umeda

The staff were very friendly and couldn't have been more helpful. The hotel is well placed for the centre of Osaka and Umeda. The room was very good but a little small for us due to our requirement to spend a lot of time in there each day due to an unrelated medical issue.

As stated above, the room was a little small based on our unusual requirements.

Room was a bit small

We stayed in quite a few KOKO hotels during this trip and this one was the one that had the most ammenities. The location was also great; so close to Osaka central station and to Ōgimachi Park metro stop! After the early arrival, we left our bags there and went to explore the city. The hotel staff was kind enough to take our suitcases directly to our room! Didn't happen in the other places we stayed. There are also lots of nice restaurants closeby but I believe that's true for the whole city..

I liked it all! But my girlfriend didn't like the idea of eating burgers (it was one of the things available when we stayed). But don't worry, really, they also had a nice selection of fruits, cereal, and other more western-friendly options. Also, the coffee they had was one of the strongest we had in Japan 😁

Location

Was very dirty, and expensive when another Koko hotel in a good location was cleaner and less expensive. Laundry machine smelled, bathroom was the cleanest part of the room. Carpet was stained, the wall had a hole in it.
