Finca Lindos Ojos

Ein außergewöhnlich schöner und besonderer Ort. Katharina hat uns im Vorfeld genau erklärt, wie wir anreisen müssen. Trotzdem war das in der Regenzeit mit dem Bus aus Estelí kommend ein Abenteuer für sich! Marcial und Marlene haben uns herzlich auf der Finca aufgenommen und uns einen Einblick in ihr Leben hier oben im Nebelwald Nicaraguas ermöglicht. Das hat uns dieses besondere Land noch einmal näher gebracht, vielen Dank dafür! Die Tour mit Marcial durch den Bosque, die Reitour auf guten Pferden zum Mirador, Marlene, die uns zeigte, wie der hiesige Frischkäse hergestellt wird und Molly, die immer um uns war, waren besondere Höhepunkte unseres von ursprünglich geplanten 3 auf 5 Tage verlängerten Aufenthaltes. Die vielen verschiedenen Vögel, abends die Glühwürmchen und dieses ganz besondere Ökosystem des Nebelwaldes haben uns sehr beeindruckt. Auch, dass es in der Regenzeit knapp mit dem Wasser werden kann! Wer Natur in jeglicher Form und das Ursprüngliche und Einfache liebt sowie ein wenig Abenteuergeist mitbringt , dem sei Lindos Ojos wärmstens empfohlen 🥰

Dass wir viel zu früh weiterreisen mussten und gerne noch geblieben wären 🥲

La atención de todo el personal fue excelente, desde la dueña una excelente señora tuvimos problemas al momento de iniciar el viaje hacia la finca y muy amablemente la señora nos hizo el cambio de la reserva todo mediante conversaciones, se nos indicó la llegada a la finca con una buena descripción y señalización del camino. En la finca, nos esperaba el señor Marcial y la esposa que son las personas que están directamente en la finca y que te ayudan en cualquier gestión. Nos proporcionaron un caballito en el cual nuestra hija anduvo por cierto tiempo en la tarde. La cabaña se encuentra accesible, a la orilla del camino. En buenas condiciones el baño y camas. Todo en perfectas condiciones

The staff were lovely and tried to be helpful with everything that was going wrong

Lots of things were broken. The water in the toilet wasn't working properly, there was a gas leak on the stove so we could only use one burner. The kitchen is outside so didn't include a fridge, we were welcomed to put things in the fridge at their house though. Perhaps I misunderstood (my Spanish is just barely passable) but we booked a horseback ride for my daughter and I and had to share a horse. I don't think we were asked if that was what we wanted. We still paid $30US. A few things that were neither good or bad but we would have liked to know beforehand. The owner was not at the property the whole time we stayed. Since I was corresponding with her I assumed she would be available (she speaks English but her staff doesn't). There is also no cell service at the property or anywhere near it so if you don't pay for the daily wifi you have no phone connection.
