ES ESPACIOSO, MUY COMODO Y LA UBICACIÓN DENTRO DE LA CIUDAD ES MUY CENTRICA Y ACCESIBLE.

Large, 1 bedroom apartment on ground floor, in gated area, centrally located (easy walking distance to lake, bus terminals, tourist information, supermarkets). In a tired state, not particularly clean or overly dirty. The person (Bonito) who let us in and showed us around was very friendly and helpful (virtually no English spoken). Keys to main gate, front door, and gate in front of door. Very basic kitchen, 4 ring gas ring hob/oven, fridge/freezer, coffee maker, few pots, pans, cutlery and crockery. Large 'lounge' with sofa, chairs, table & flat screen TV (no streaming). Large bedroom, 1 comfortable double bed, 1 single bed. Drawer unit for storage (but drawers already in use for bedding). Multiple powerpoints throughout (not necessarily where you want or need them). Large bathroom, good powerful shower. Clothes drying line outside. Fan available for hot weather. We had an issue with the Internet (see other comments box), and it took a while to fix (but as soon as Bonito got involved things sped up). However, as a gesture of good will, the owner's offered us an extra free day which impressed us.

We had to wait a while outside after WhatsApp message to tell them we had arrived, fortunately we have a Nicaragua sim. Issues with wifi/internet/network, dropped periodically on first night (might be weather related) but offline most of 2nd day, again without a local sim we would not have been able to notify the owners. No visible signs of recycling. Cash only, but Dollars and Cordobas accepted (watch the exchange rate!). Fridge needed cleaning (mouldy) before we could use it. Toilet flush continually 'runs' and kitchen tap continually drips. Needs more hooks in bathroom. No bedside table or lamps, no bin or clothes hooks. Lighting could be better throughout. Outer window blinds broken so limited privacy. Net curtains would be nice to let light in. Only 1 fan, so had to be moved from lounge to bedroom as required (which meant we both had to be in same room). Owners need to provide a key drop box for when people check out, otherwise trying to coordinate key return and taxis is a pain.
