Very nice large 2 bed apartment with a lovely garden. I think the hosts might have been away as we were greeted by a lovely couple who actually picked us up from the bus stop as we caught the bus from Naples, very grateful for that as it is a fair distance! We liked Meta, much quieter than nearby Sorrento and easy to get around on buses and trains.
You can’t tell what your accommodation comprises of exactly as the pictures shown are from both apartments. Our apartment was the larger of the two, you initially enter into a communal lounge area where there is a red sofa and from there you can enter both apartments. Thankfully the other apartment was unoccupied so we used this room as there is no sofa in the apartment! The neighbours upstairs can be clearly heard, walking around, talking, moving furniture etc. and there is street noise. I am not complaining just stating some facts to be aware of! One thing I would recommend to the host is to provide more equipment in the kitchen especially more utensils (only 2 metal spoons that I didn’t like to use on the non stick pans) and knives for chopping and food prep! Coffee salt and pepper were basically the only things provided. And some more information about the garbage would be useful. Not really sure what to do with it as there were no bins anywhere to put out on the street.

The layout was good, very spacious. Loved the terrace. The location was close to a little supermarket, train & bus for getting from one city to the next. Close walking distance to the beach & waterfront.
The walls didn’t have great insulation as you heard the neighbours.

Fiorenzo ist ein unglaublich netter und hilfsbereiter Vermieter. Wir hatten aus Versehen ein Appartement ohne Küche gebucht, was wir vor Ort leider festgestellt haben. Fiorenzo hat uns auf Nachfrage ein anderes und schöneres Appartement ohne zusätzliche Kosten gegeben. Dafür nochmals ganz herzlichen Dank. Die Unterkunft liegt sehr Zentral um Ausflüge an die Amalfiküste und Capri zu unternehmen. Die Bushaltestelle liegt ca. 2 Minuten von dem Appartement entfernt. Von dort kann man für 2 Euro nach Sorrent fahren und von dort mit der Fähre nach Capri.
Vom Bahnhof in Meta, ca. 15 Minuten von der Unterkunft entfernt, kann man nach Neapel fahren.
Alles in allem kann man die Gegend sehr gut mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln erkunden.
