This was our 4th visit to Crete, and our stay at the Basilico villa was the best one yet. From the moment we arrived, everything about this place and the way it's run made for a truly special holiday. The villa is just minutes on foot from Panormos village, so we had the best of both worlds - total peace and privacy at the villa, with all the charm of the village, its tavernas, and the sea just a short stroll away. The villa itself was stunning - spacious, immaculately clean, and clearly very well cared for down to the smallest detail, by Manolis and his crew. The private pool and the views were incredible, and we spent so many happy hours just relaxing there. The whole place had this perfect balance: serene and comfortable, but also full of fun for the whole family. Host Emma was warm, responsive, and went above and beyond throughout our stay. Check-in was smooth and clearly explained ahead of time, and we arrived to find lovely welcome treats and even a birthday cake waiting for us for our daughter's birthday, such a thoughtful touch that set the tone for the whole trip. She was also quick to help with great restaurant recommendations and kindly accommodated a late checkout request on short notice. That kind of flexibility and hospitality is rare and really made us feel looked after. We even had a lovely surprise visit from Jorgos, the owner, who stopped by on our last evening with olive oil and raki, a genuinely warm and generous gesture that says a lot about the people behind this villa. We left with full hearts and are already looking forward to coming back. Sofia Luxury Villas offers a rare combination of a beautiful, well-kept property and truly exceptional hospitality. We stayed at the largest villa in July. The accommodation was perfect, well-kept, very clean and well-equipped with enough room for a family of 4. The garden was also even more beautiful than in the pictures. The terrace was a great place to spend time since it was in the shadow for most of the day. It also had a sea view and it was the best place to watch sunset in the evening. The outside pool was large and the depth 1,5m was perfect for adults and teenagers. The location near Panormos village was great, all restaurants, shops and beach were in walking distance. Communication with our hostess worked well, we loved the welcome fruit basket and drinks as well as the farewell gift. My only regret was that we did not book a longer stay, we could have easily spent another week here.

Perfect villa in a superb location. Super comfortable bed, very nice interior and excellent view in the garden. Just a few minutes walk from super cozy Panormos village with very relaxed vibe:)!
