Battery Point Manor

Great large room

Nothing

Had everything you could need. Options if wanted to cook or handy to many dinner options, & views from windows / deck.

Slippery shower floor

The location is superb, nestled in historical Battery Point. Salamanca Place is just a short 5 min walk away. There are quaint eateries and Pubs within a 2 minute walking distance. ALL of the ESSENTIAL accomodation items are well catered for. Be mindful that Battery Point Manor has been kept in its original condition which is the point of its charm. It provides clean, comfortable lodgings.

There is no-one to greet you on arrival. A personal text message is the only indicator of where to locate your room and key. Although NOT a drawback: if you are expecting the usual hotel staff services, be prepared and keep an open mind for a totally different approach when checking in.

The staff were very good - efficient and friendly. Comfortable beds. Very clean rooms. Off-street parking. 5 min walk to Salamanca Place.

The shower over the bath. The tall trees blocking the view to all but the very top room. The slopes in the floor of the hallways. The fire alarm going off in our room and building when I boiled their kettle.
