Absolutely perfect, I would recommend Unterer Gurethshof to anyone wishing to visit the Black Forest
It's a beautiful locatation, there are so many different attractions within easy travelling distance. A car is very useful but I also used a free travel pass which was kindly arranged by my hosts, and I also took my bicycle. The house and my room were traditional, well equiped and warm. My two hosts Irmgard and Markus are very helpful and welcoming. They were kind enough to arrange for a mechanic to call when I had a problem with my car.
I really could not fault anything, so no improvements, perfect as is.

Haus in ländlicher, waldreicher Umgebung.
Das Hotel liegt in einer ruhigen Gegend, umgeben von Wald. Das Zimmer verfügt über eine Küche und ein Badezimmer. Ich habe den Aufenthalt sehr genossen, besonders nach anstrengenden Arbeitstagen. Das Haus liegt auf dem Land, die Gastgeber waren sehr gastfreundlich. Ich habe mich wie bei meinen Großeltern gefühlt.

Einfach wunderbar
Wo anfangen? Der Urlaub war rundum schön. Uriges, riesiges Bauernhaus, in dem es so viel zu entdecken gab - in einer Lage wie aus dem Bilderbuch. Unser Appartment war mit einem ultragemütlichen Bett, wirklich reichlich Schrankplatz, einem Tisch, einer Kitchenette und einem weiteren Bett, das als Couch dienen kann, ausgestattet. An Küchenutensilien war auch alles vorhanden - fehlte was, einfach fragen. Durch die Balken, die liebevolle Deko und den wunderschönen Ausblick herrschte eine Atmosphäre wie im Märchen. Es gibt mehrere Appartments in der ersten Etage, im Flur gibt es eine Sitzecke und eine riesiges Spielzeugregal, das keine Wünsche offen lies (vom Kleinkindspielzeug bis zu Brettspielen). Bücher gab es ebenso. Draußen warteten Bobby Car, Trecker und Sandkasten zum Spielen. Draußen war eine schöne Terrasse zum entspannen, mit den Hunden und Katzen spielen, und Zugang zum Garten mit den Weiden für Schafe, Ziegen und Kühe. Was aber am Schönsten war, waren die Leute, ob Stammgäste, die seit vielen Jahren immer wieder kommen und so manche Anekdote bereithatten oder natürlich die Gastgeber, die immer für einen Plausch bereit waren, oder uns beim Tiere füttern mitnahmen. Und sie sind übrigens versierte und prämierte Schnapsbrenner und haben uns Kostproben und einen Einblick in die Zunft gegeben ;-). Alles in allem ein wunderbarer Urlaub, unser Kleinkind hat sich auch sehr wohl gefühlt und wollte sofort wieder zurück. Danke!
