This is a quaint little hotel, tucked away from the street in a lovely garden setting. We received a wonderfully warm welcome and our room was delightful! Extra attention to detail was made in many small ways and made it feel very quaint and homely. Comfy beds, ac, hot shower - and of course Yahoo the resident dog! We had to leave early so they packed breakfast for us to take with us! A nice location away from the busy main street but still on the lakeside. Only a 10 minute walk to the tourist bus station.

A door for the bathroom would be nice instead of curtains.

Maya the owner at MingTang is all any traveler need to meet in Nepal. She is of the best advice for everything from going around, dinning and tourism or just fixing any "make my life better" in a snappy way. The facility is clean, restful, nicely decorated and perfectly located with all the conveniences at walking distance by the lake side of Pokhara. Just dont feed Yahoo the Golden Lab who is an attraction of his own so this doggie is lovely. Maya is a generous person, highly flexible and professional as much as attentive to any details. While greatly assisted by a very kind mgr Maya is always keen to make herself available to customers with a big smile.

There is little to nothing to dislike at MingTang.

A calm and peaceful haven near the lake in Pokhara. The service is personal and respectful and offers a unique experience. The hotel is lovingly decorated and very comfortable. Highly recommend if you are looking for somewhere quiet and special.

The bathroom has curtains rather than a door to the bedroom area.
