Lovely, quirky house with antiques & interesting features. A very welcoming host who was helpful & made a lovely breakfast. His dog was also very sweet! Ideal location as well and great for visiting local area.
The bathroom was not as clean as it might have been & some of the property would benefit from updating. It did not spoil our stay though.

Skylight window gave good ventilation in bedroom Peaceful location Comfy bed Good choice at breakfast Very welcoming and hospitable host - went above and beyond expectations of a host - drove us to pick our car up and phoned us to make sure we got back home safely Clean bedding and plenty of towels Very friendly dog Fridge with milk and tea/coffee facilities a nice touch
Would be a good idea to have a hand-wash/soap in the bathroom Had to fill bath via shower head - couldn't get just taps to work New nets in bedroom without dust/ cobwebs would be nice Would be nice to have a choice of baked beans rather than a tomato with the breakfast Property a bit tired-looking and dated Feint lingering cigarette smell downstairs but upstairs fine

The property was lovely, with character and charm. The location was perfect for exploring the area. There were a few pubs in easy walking distance.
