Hotel Arcobaleno

The room was perfect, with a glass door leading to a wooden balcony. Timber decking and thick wooden beams holding up the roof. All rooms have a balcony, looking out over the stunning scenery. We have a perfect view of Mount Paganella not far from our balcony. Sheer cliffs rising up hundreds of meters to the top, where the top of the ski lift resides. We could both clearly see a fox’s face in the rock formation. Once you see it you can’t unsee it. There was a very large double bed in the room, with the most comfortable pillows. Plenty of storage and an en-suite with sink, WC, bidet and a shower and bath. The balcony comes with a small circular iron table and two iron chairs. The next morning, we went ‘up’ for breakfast. We were greeted by Tatiania who asked would we like bacon and eggs. We said yes of course. The dining area is large and clean with tablecloths on all tables. There are two balconies to the dining area with tables and chairs looking out at Mount Paganella. The breakfast consisted of lots of pastries, breads, pancakes, fruit, cereals and meats. A coffee machine and various juices. The fried eggs and bacon were brought to us by Jackem (sorry name probably spelt incorrectly). Jackem was amazing. Full of life and very friendly to everyone. He was so helpful and almost instinctively knew what a customer wants before they ask. He brought a really cheerful atmosphere to the dining room and we both agreed that he would make a great hotel manager. When he lifted out empty bowls, he asked did we want a ‘refill’. Of course, we said yes as it was so delicious. He apologised that his English wasn’t great, but he was able to communicate with us easily. On our second evening, we had the evening meal in the dining area, and they seated us at a table on the balcony. Just perfect. The meal consisted of a large buffet spread to start with. Salads, rice of various types, beans, little wraps, eggs etc. Something for everyone.

Location perfetta per persone che amano la tranquillità ed un trattamento più che fantastico Proprietari gentilissimi e ragazzi dello staff eccezionali E che dire del cibo? Superlativo!! Camere grandi e pulite. Prima esperienza in montagna per me e mia moglie ma che sicuramente ripeteremo l'anno prossimo e senza ombra di dubbio all'hotel Arcobaleno!! Grazie!!! Roberto Turrini

The staff were wonderful and the hotel had amazing views.

Unfortunately the rooms had no sound insulation (in fact there was just a cupboard between our room and next door) and a family screaming at each other meant we couldn't put our baby to bed. Much better value for money can be found elsewhere!
