Mediocre but acceptable for our needs.

The location is good - close to Old City and bus stop. After reading the bad reviews (lots made since booking) i was very nervous and expected the worst, but it was better than I expected.

The lack of communication from the host was disconcerting. There is no WiFi, or if there is, you are not given the password. The spiral staircase could be tricky for those with large suitcases and limited mobility.

Disgusting hospitality

The apartment is quite comfortable with a washing machine, microwave, fridge and dining table. Even though it’s a little bit old in places it’s still decent enough.

When I arrived no one was around so I called the number on booking.com but I got no answer. So I hung outside calling now and then but I got no joy. Fortunately a lady called Murrella who works in the money exchange building next door to the apartment asked me if I was ok and I told her I’m waiting to access the apartment. She said she knew the owner and would call him but she got no success either. So I showed her my booking, and she gave me the access code. The key was in the apartment door so I let myself in. There was no towels and although the bathroom seemed clean (Apart from the massive black mould patch above the shower head) and when I lifted the toilet seat up someone had clearly forgotten to clean the underneath. Instead of complaining I asked for help on these matters but I heard nothing again until checkout time. I woke up late and admittedly that must be annoying to the cleaner. However I don’t think I deserve to be shouted at on the phone and told I’m shit and a bad person, plus he said he found drugs in the room and he’s calling the police which is a complete load of garbage. I said I was leaving 15 minutes after 11.25 and I did which makes that 11.40-45 but he proceeded to message me on booking.com like I’m still there at 12.00, and then he called me at 13.00 shouting at me that I should leave the room when I’d already left over an hour ago. I apologised for checking out late but he ignored my message also, he seems to think it’s ok to ignore a customer requesting a towel and cleaning products. How he thinks shouting and threatening me about drugs and police is going to help the situation is beyond me. I can see from previous reviews the owner needs to learn some customer relations skills because this is shocking behaviour. Also booking.com need to tidy their act because there are so many similar reviews with this apartment and others on their site. Also there’s a heap of 10 - ‘Exceptional’ reviews here with no description that look very shady.

I don't stay there again.

Downtown location is plus point for most tourists , but car parking is very difficult to get it. Parking fees must pay between 7am to 11pm from Monday to Sunday.

The owner is non-responding and no initiative. No door code, no message via booking.com.

Horrible host

Nothing, because the host completely ghosted us when it came to checking in.

We booked the accommodation during our stay in Croatia. We received no information or messages from the host about the property or check-in procedures. We ended up having to write to the host ourselves, requesting the address of the place and info about checking-in, but still received no answer. We tried to call and write to the host for more than an hour until we finally contacted booking customer support. They did not receive any contact from the host either until after about 40 minutes the host told them that they are not able to host us tonight, without giving a single reason. By that time it was already very late in the evening an we were exhausted. We ended up having to book another accommodation. The booking said that the host will cancel the booking but even now when writing the review they have still not cancelled the booking and I haven’t gotten any refund yet. I would not recomment this accommodation to anyone who wants to be sure that they have a place to stay for the night.

Awful experience – no key, no contact, no support

I had a terrible experience with this property. I paid in advance and arrived with my child, but no one gave us the key. The host was completely unreachable — no replies to calls or messages. We waited for hours without any help, and eventually had to find another place to stay on our own. This was incredibly stressful, especially with a child and luggage. The whole experience was unacceptable. I would never book this place again and strongly recommend others to avoid it. If you value your time, money, and peace of mind — stay away!

Fine, but no towels

The location is great, very close to the centre. There was a nice chatty couple of young backpackers from Canada staying in the apartment on the floor below who were fun to talk to. There is probably younger travelers there all the time. Has a hostel feel.

The owner was okay on arrival, explained the entrance well and we let ourselves in, which we are fine with, no need to welcome us in person. Unfortunatelly when we discovered that we were not given any towels, they were not accomodating at all and failed to call us back and let us know if they will even bring the towels at all. They didn't. After that we started noticing other flaws of the place like the apartment being a bit run down, not the cleanest but not too grose, the bathroom water heater being inside the tub so it was a bit hard to shower because it's in the way and in the worst place possible. Other than that, I'd say it's fine for an overnight stay close to town, if you're not looking for too much.

After initial problems we enjoyed the stay.

Location was excellent, the accommodation was spacious and well furnished. Once we got the password after a one day delay, the wifi was good.

Booking.com listed an electric jug. No jug, only a slow inefficient electric hot plate. When I queried this with the owner he virtually accused me of lying. Then he said he understood what happened - he had given our apartment to someone else, and we were in the wrong one! Owner took 24 hours before he would give us the wifi password. Only one clean saucepan, others + fyrpan were burnt/ dirty.

The apartment is in perfect locations, close to historic center, bus station, market, restaurants.

The host was very kind allowing us to stay longer on the day of the departure. The apartment is spacious for the studio. Everything was as expected.

I propose to add some kettle for hot water.

It’s really dark in the evening to walk up the last narrow staircase to reach the apartment. A light would help.

Really good location

Really good location, just up the hill from the bus station. On the edge of the old town, a few minutes walk. Supermarket 50m. The apartmen is on the 2nd floor, via a steep staircase and a metal spiral staircase. Big studio style, modern, well furnished, with good kitchen ( but no microwave and kettle). Good AC an wifi. Contactless simple check-in. Clean but somehow had a feeling that the bedlinen was not changed. The pillow was, it looked fresh. The sheets looked clean but the wrinkles reminded me already used. ( I might be wrong, but usually I do not have such suspection). Beside this I had a good stay.

We stayed one night in this property, which was so close to the centre but at the same time was nice and calm and quiet. The bed was very comfy and the room itself is very big. It has all the things you would need pots pans, even a freezer. The air conditioner got to work quickly! For £45 a night you get value for money. The host let us leave our bags outside the property whilst we needed to do some things the next day.

Nice stay in Sibenik

It was very clean, and the location was amazing.

There was not a lot to cook with (no pan), only a drop of oil, only one roll of toilet paper. A little bit sparse.

the location and the distance from the bus station and the center

- strong smell of sewage in the apartment coming from the bathroom - small ants coming from the bathroom towards the kitchen/ open space - I was very cold during the night, there was no blanket, no heater. There was only a bed sheet. I had to wear 2 pairs of pants and 3 layers of long sleeved blouses (this was in mid September). The mattress was on some pallets. Super basic bedroom, nothing except the bed and a wardrobe. - there were garbage bags outside the apartment not being picked up for some time - if I had to choose, I wouldn’t stay here again. I also didn’t feel very safe

Perfect location and really comfortable apartment. It was renovated. The owner let us to come in earlier and also to leave our luggage later than the check out time

There were No Towels and when we asked noone bring them The bathroom was smelling humidity and mold The floor and the kitchen stuff were not so clean We found also ants on the kitchen and on the bathroom

Uncomfortable.

It was very close to the old town and to the harbor. There is a supermarket as well as a local outside market with local goods. The apartment needed no contact with the host for the keys due to the password locker on the outside door.

Our reservation was for 3 people and the room was prepared for 2 people. We contacted the host but we got no response. The pillows and the mattress were very uncomfortable, soft and we sunk towards the center making it impossible to sleep all night. There were no light blockers on some of the windows. Also, there is no free parking in the area (understandable since the apartment is located in the heart of the city center).

Nice apartment close to Sibenik city center

Very nice apartment, big and close to Sibenik city center. Air conditioning and all necessary equipment provided on site. A plus the flexible check-in done via phone.

Slightly difficult access if the guests are bringing large suitcases since the apartment is on the second floor with spiral stairs (no lift). A pity the missing free parking slots in the neighbourhood.
