The property is wonderfully quiet and perfectly located for exploring Mount Field. The beds were very comfortable. We especially loved the little private rainforest walk and the veggie garden with chickens and fresh eggs — real highlights for us.
For us personally, the Hop Pickers Hut felt a bit too rustic. In our opinion, the bathtub/shower could use an update. The bedroom is more of a combined living–sleeping area, and unfortunately the windows didn’t have mosquito screens, so we kept them closed. Although the beds were good, we both didn’t sleep well.

Grant, the owner was friendly and helpful. Rustic Hop Pickers cabin was clean, comfortable and well equipped. Quiet and peaceful.The view was exceptional. The chooks and their fresh eggs, fresh veggies from the garden. The bush walking track near the creek and in the rainforest. BBQ hut, games room and other activities.

Nice aspect; fireplace. To be fair, we didn't have time to walk the property.
Was smaller than anticipated; rustic but confined. Kitchen facilities and space was inadequate.
Note that other accommodation offered on the property was more spacious, with more room to swing a cat.
