We really enjoyed our stay at Boat Reflections.
The room is lovely, the bed very comfortable, everything was spotless, and the owner, Scott,was very friendly. There’s a welcoming pub right across the road that serves up a great pint, and the locals were very friendly.
10/10 all round!

Looked nice and the bed would have been good if I could have slept more, the shower were good. Nice pictures on the wall. Perhaps having the room on the end and open to the back carpark and road noise did not help.
The level of noise from the guests next door and the road was trying and exhausting even with the bathroom door closed it only only improved slightly.
I was sent a review request via the host. So I emailed them initially with no intention of posting an online review. I could tell they felt offended by our experience. Which led to me re-replying and them telling me about all the good reviews others gave them.
I'm really glad others had a better experience, but at $179:+ the value was not there for us, sofa bed was not comfortable for the lightest weight person in the room. I am more in the mid range as a sleeper. Living near a continuously busy regional arterial road, I'm used to some noise. The room didn't feel like the walls were insulated enough to accommodate the sounds around it.
While I accept they could not stop the carpark 3:28 am noise the level of ongoing road noise is not ideal
They did offer money back this was not the motivation for giving my review. It was expensive accommodation versus my budget, contacting them was purely to give my experience. I think they should try staying on site a few times to understand the property. Going to work thoroughly exhausted and then at the end of the day driving home exhausted for 4.5 hours, is neither safe nor ideal.
The verandah light was on all night and the light encroached on the bedroom via the gap in the blinds. That same gap also meant I could see people outside when preparing for bed and it did not feel entirely secure from a dressing perspective.
No tea bags - luckily I had 2. The one glass for 2 people in the room and I do not know what breakfast I thought was included in the room, but there were 4 packets of cereal and not enough milk once you had a cup of tea and coffee. Probably not an issue for people travelling who might bring groceries with them, the nearest supermarket is 20 minutes.
