AG405 Hotel

This property is on the beachfront! You can cross a small road (with low to now traffic) and be on the beach. And the walk towards Gwangalli beach is really short one. The building itself boasts of two good restaurants which are not owned by the hotel but the hotel restaurant is good enough (western food). If you wish to take a public transport (After my first night in the infamously crazy driving Busan taxi, I chose to travel by public transport) The staff in the reception is very helpful. They helped me to book a taxi, helped me with address and also direct me to the nearby laundromat (they do not provide laundry service). The rooms are big and the beds are comfortable and the rooms are in very good condition. The amenities and toiletries (and water bottles) make life easier.

Unfortunately, in spite of putting the clean my room sticker on the door the cleaning staff did not notice it for two days in a row and they left the towels and water bottles next to the door. I stayed for six days (5 nights) and not getting a room cleaning even once was not the best. I was not sure if the process to ask for cleaning the room is not by hanging the card of the door handle but that is not really clear.

The room was excellent - it was huge so perfect for 3 of us; the staff were lovely and went above and beyond to help us. We had a fantastic stay. We loved having the convenience store right down stairs - that was so convenient. It was also great having such close access to the walkway along the water. It was very hot, so even though the location is well situated in walking distance to Gwangalli beach, it was a bit too hot to walk during the day. (

A futon in Korea means you’re sleeping in a mat in the floor - not a futon in the western sense

Very friendly staff and the room was spacious enough. Nice views as well.

Smelly elevator and a bit of mold in the bathroom.
