We loved our 4 night stay at Borgo Monachella. Enrico and his family have renovated the place sympathetically and beautifully. It’s comfortable, really clean, with a fantastic big swimming pool and great changing rooms. The breakfasts were amazing, Enrico’s mama made delicious cakes every day. Their own olives, sundried tomatoes and jams tasted wonderful. The cute cats were a bonus. Would fully recommend.
The only slight issue and not the fault of the property is that there is no public transport so a car is necessary to get anywhere.

Beautifully maintained and furnished. I loved the little touches if hand embroidered curtains and linen. The breakfast was very good- some of the best olives I have eaten. Enrico was very helpful in explaining to us how to get to Ibla and where to park. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

A little out of the way but not too far a drive from town. Enrico was lovely, speaks English very well. There are several renovated stone buildings with a patio outside the door and a pool a short walk away. A beautiful breakfast buffet is provided with local baked goods and jams.

Lovely place just outside Ragusa
The room was clean, comfy and really nice
Breakfast was one of the best we had during our whole trip in Sicily
The swimming pool is great too
One tip - definitely talk to the owner about how to get there before arriving for the first time. Waze doesn’t take you to the right place and Google maps gives you 2 different roads (one is totally fine… the other is basically a cow road)
