Cozy stay, a bit expensive, nice breakfast and comfortable bed

clean, nice decorated, the music in the evening when we arrived, the breakfast prepared by the owner

not in center of Barbizon, but easy drive to and spacious courtyard where to park. Also, even k own, the rooms are upper floor and the stairs are not easy for big luggage. The toilet is separate from shower room, but without possibly washing the hands there.

anytime I am in the vicinity I will go to Barbizon and stay at La Bastide de Barbizon

the property and breakfast were both lovely, but the biggest highlight is the owners charming and welcoming attitude. Hat's off to Claire and Freddy, and their friendly pets Parker (dog) and cat. Barbizon itself is also sweet and charming and there are nice walks in the forest.

Beautiful property and a wonderful host. The property is very well located: 15 minutes walking distance to the main street of Barbizon and extremely peaceful with a large, beautiful garden. The room we had was very comfortable, beautifully decorated and spotless clean.

Peaceful stay near Barbizon

Very nice place near the nature with a cozy garden and wonderful hosts. Highly recommended for a peaceful escape from the city. Not far from Barbizon village and Fontainebleau forest

It's a bit off the trail, maybe 20-30 minutes walking from the Barbizon's main street. So it would be hard to get there without a car, or a return if you forgot something

Angenehmer und gemütlicher Aufenthalt in einem Künstlerdorf.

Die Unterkunft wird von einer herzlichen Gastgeberin liebevoll betrieben. Das Ambiente ist sehr angenehm, es gibt einen Garten, den man aufsuchen kann. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker. Wir hatten ein geräumiges, helles Zimmer im Dachgeschoss mit einem bequemen Doppelbett.

Haus mit viel Charme

Die Gastgeber:innen waren ausgesprochen freundlich und aufmerksam – man fühlt sich sofort willkommen. Das Zimmer war geschmackvoll und mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Auch das Frühstück war hervorragend: frisch, abwechslungsreich und mit viel Sorgfalt zubereitet.

Das WLAN war leider instabil und nur eingeschränkt nutzbar. Zudem war es im Zimmer unter dem Dach recht warm – an heißen Tagen wäre eine Klimaanlage oder ein Ventilator hilfreich gewesen.

La jolie décoration de cette belle maison. Le magnifique et paisible jardin. La compagnie de Parker et Carolin au petit déjeuner en terrasse. L'adorable accueil par Claire qui était au petit soin. Le petit-déjeuner était délicieux et copieux avec des confitures et un crumble fait maison. La disponibilité de vélo est aussi un +. Le centre du village est tout proche et accessible à pied.
