The Cove Kettering

Beautiful modern very comfortable apartment, with lovely furnishings. View from apartment 1 was lovely looking towards the marina. Staff were very friendly, quick to respond to any problem and helpful.

The hard wired fire alarm needed its battery changed and we had to change rooms at night due to it beeping. Luckily there was a spare room for us to change to and the staff were very quick to respond and help. We were unlucky that this happened and it is not something that would normally happen.

There’s lots to like about this apartment- The views are stunning overlooking the bay The room and bathroom are spacious, comfortable and nicely furnished The location is so close and convenient for the ferry to Bruny Island, which was our main reason for choosing this location The breakfast provisions were delicious and plentiful. We were able to help ourselves in the seperate breakfast room, as no staff present While no staff in attendance, communication was clear and good. Entry was by a code box We liked being able to park just outside side our room It’s a quick walk to a pub and a couple of cafes are close by It was nice and quiet

There are a couple of things that would make this property even better, in our opinion - Firstly, the mattress was too soft, but this is personal and some may like it, and I feel there is room for a king size bed which would add to the luxurious feel of the apartment Secondly, while the bathroom is huge and looks nice, water goes everywhere when showering as there’s no screen. You have to mop the floor and wipe down the toilet afterwards, which is not practical, and no extra towels provided to help with this

Great location and views, very convenient for access to Bruny Island, excellent general store nearby, hotel and coffee shops. The staff were most friendly and helpful with any requests.

The breakfast was excellent and included an assortment of berries. However the yoghurt supplied was a sweetened ? Vanilla yoghurt which didn't complement the berries at all. A plain Greek yoghurt would definitely improve things. Also the property is on the highway so ok with doors/ windows shut but too much traffic noise to enjoy sitting on balcony.

Large room nice and warm

No one on site if needed, a bit impersonal
