Everything about the property was perfect - great location, great welcome, great staff, and all wrapped in a really interesting and spotlessly clean historic building.

Nothing.

The staff were an absolute delight from the moment we arrived. Could not fault. We also had a couples massage in the room. Clean lovely room and right in the thick of it.

Nothing at all about the property aside from i found it tricky not having outside facing windows in the rooms (due to riad history).

The location is perfect. You are in the heart of the souk and everyone we asked knew where it was located. With a little push, the staff made an effort to be helpful. This place is perfect if you are planning to spend 99% of your time outside the riad and will come there to crash at night and for those looking for “no frills” place in the heart of the old city. The staff was willing to let me use their kitchen to cut my fruit.

- This place is far from 5 stars; it is a 3 star location at best. The double room is very tiny, barely any walking space between the bed and the chair (only space for 1 chair). No space for two pieces of luggage to be open at the same time. No space to move if the closet door is open. Perhaps the lower floor has this issue because we looked at another room and it was equally tiny. - Also, the towels were so old and dingy that they were no longer white and were stained. - No welcome when we checked in. No how are you doing, no water, no tea, no snacks, no wifi password. Just showed us to the room. -We fought flies, gnats and beetles throughout the night. The room could do with a good fumigation.
