Riad Jaouhara

It was exceptional stay. The room is beautiful and spacious. We felt like we were invited to a noble house. The common area garden is gorgeous and calm. The staff are amazing, helpful and kind. The location is good, close by to everything and easy access to the main roads without walking too far.

The door hinges need some oil, it makes squeaky noise when opening the door.

We had such a beautiful and memorable stay at Riad Jaouhara. From the moment we arrived, it truly felt like coming home. One of our favorite moments was enjoying a relaxed breakfast in the afternoon, followed by a peaceful time in the garden, listening to the birds in the background — it was pure tranquility. In the evenings, we loved chatting with the doorman and the hotel manager. Their warmth and hospitality made the experience even more special. They were always happy to share stories and explain the history of the riad, which made everything even more interesting and meaningful. I almost didn’t book this riad because the pictures made it look a bit old-fashioned. But when I arrived, my first reaction was: wow! The place is absolutely beautiful, much more than the photos suggest. Everything is very clean, well cared for, and full of charm. The people working here are incredibly friendly and genuinely welcoming. You can really feel the love and pride they have for this place. We can’t wait to come back!

Excellent location just steps away from blue gate. Good breakfast. Beautiful court yard. Lots of restaurants nearby. The owner help us with a local tour guide to the Medina with reasonable price. The staff helped with luggage up and down the stairs.

Our friends report no hot water in the 1st morning. It was fixed the next day though.
