Hôtel Le Kandahar

Propreté, personnel et patrons très sympa. Nous avons très bien mangé. ¨Petit déjeuner très copieux, tout ce qu'il fallait pour démarrer une bonne journée; Et évidemment une très belle région.

Der Haussalat beim Nachtessen war fein. Douche und Shampoo-Fläschchen vorhanden.

Das Preis-Leistungsverhältniss stimmte nicht. Etwas unflexibel (Frühstückszeiten); sehr kleines WC, keine Reserve-Papierrolle im WC.

Besonders nette Leute und sehr gutes Essen. Optimaler Einstieg in die Grandes Routes des Alpes.

This hotel has a very good location in Châtel. It’s truly value for money. Two of the three rooms had a renovated bathroom, the third had a new bath. The double beds were rather small - especially for tall people. The breakfast buffet was perfect. Fresh fruit and eggs, warm bread and tasty yoghurt. For dinner, the restaurant offers very good local dishes. Take into account that even as a hotel guest, you need to reserve for breakfast and dinner upfront… your table is not reserved automatically.

The only downside is that the restaurant only opens at 7pm. You don’t have a bar to have a drink after ski or day activity. Also, breakfast is served between 8am and 10am, which is quite late for early skiers.
