Blue Bells Hotel

It was quiet. There was a fan in the room and the bed was comfortable.

Small room, bit cramped, could be improved if furniture arranged better. Staff member on duty was friendly enough but we had to suggest solutions rather than them being proactive. We had to be away before breakfast was served and asked if we would be able to take something with us. We were told someone would be around in the morning that would sort that for us. However there was no one in sight and all doors locked.

fab situation for visiting portobello road, also close to the underground with 3 different lines. Staff nice, complimentary continental breakfast nice. room spacious and on the front of the building, but quiet road and closed on schoolday mornings for kids drop-off at private school next door. bed and bedding comfy, kettle tea and coffee and fridge in room. large flat screen tv. Also I found this address because it was one of the cheapest in the area, usually I stay in other guest houses nearby which were more expensive

bathroom had quite a few problems but nothing really to complain about - no light fitting above the sink (had once been there apparently), towel rack boiling (and this was when it was 31 degrees outside!) plug wouldn't come out so water and toothpaste disappeared after several minutes. Got drenched when switching on the shower and bathroom floor got wet easily (but dried quickly due to heating!) Minor annoyances which wouldn't stop me coming back here!

Very clean quaint and close to everything including the tube. Also having breakfast available is a great addition. Being able to sit in the day room is also a great addition and I believe there is an outdoor courtyard too.

The stairs I found tough as I have mobility issues and was on the top floor so next time I will request a ground floor room!

They were very loving and kind to us and our room was very spacious
