Arabian Ranches Golf Club Hotel

Staff were very helpful and service in the restaurant was excellent. perfect location for us as visiting friends in Arabian Ranches. hotel was very good value. Breakfast both mornings very good with excellent choice. Very helpful security staff who assisted with parking the car in a full car park.

Over complicated TV with no instructions for the 3 remotes.....and I flew planes for a living! Not enough spare sockets and weak shower.

if you are visiting friends who live in Ranches or you want to play the golf course this is a good option - otherwise look elsewhere. I tried to contact the hotel regarding green fees for residents and got no response despite about 5 requests - even going via Booking.com i got no reply. Once at the hotel, i did get offered a more reasonable green fee and played on 2 days.

The hotel rooms are above the next door restaurant Maison Mathis - if you are facing the golf course you are on the side with the al fresco seating area and its noisy. The room we had to begin with (no 1) was on this side - we requested a move after the first night to the other side of the building and this room was much better. There are only about 12-15 rooms so you kind of get the feeling the hotel part is an afterthought. I booked a double room 2 months ahead of our stay but when we arrived it was two single beds pushed together (an easy spot as the headboards were screwed to the wall). The curtains did not meet leaving a 2 foot gap for the light to get in.
