About this house rental
Welcome to Fish Lake Cottage. The cottage is located on all sports Fish Lake with a small sandy beach and a dock. Fish Lake is a small lake approximately 40 acres known for great fishing. The lake is quiet and water sports are allowed. The cottage is fully updated and has everything you need for a great relaxing vacation. Enjoy the beautiful backyard overlooking the lake or have a cookout on the back deck. So if your just here to sit and relax by the lake or shop in South Haven this is it. Cottage is fully updated and can be rented for summer activities as well as all winter sports. Area is great for downhill skiing at Timber Ridge and Bittersweet Ski Resort or cross country skiing on Kal- Haven trail. Guest wanting to snowmobile and bring their machines are also welcome as there is a great network of trails that you can ride to right from the cottage to the Kal Haven Trail Head 2 miles north. Guest in the summer are welcome to bring their water toys including boats and wave runners. The main level is open concept with the kitchen and living room having a view of Fish Lake. A full Bathroom is also located on the main floor which includes the full use of a washer and dryer. One bedroom is also located on the main floor which has one queen bed as well as a bunk bed featuring a full bed on the bottom and a twin on the top. Cottage has a Blowup mattress available as well to accommodate those who do not wish to sleep on the bunk bed. There is a staircase that leads up to the 2 bedroom loft. This bedroom has a half bathroom and has a queen bed as well. The west wall of this bedroom is full of windows that allow for a great view of the lake. The Cottage has central air / furnace. The kitchen has pots, pans, cooking utensils, plates, bowls and cups. There is a full size fridge, stove/ oven, microwave, coffee pot, Keurig and dishwasher for guest use. Towels and linens are supplied as well as hair dryer, iron and washer/ dryer.

This is the perfect house and location for a peaceful getaway to relax and enjoy nature. The lake is only developed on one half, making for the most picturesque view. Lake traffic is primarily anglers and paddlers. All had a ton of fun fishing off the dock or from the host’s kayak, and playing in the sand. The home is clean, updated and better appointed than most VRBO homes we’ve stayed at. The host was extremely welcoming and informative, and his attention to detail in communication prior to and during our trip made us feel very comfortable. We hope to return and recommend it highly.

I had a wonderful stay on Fish Lake in this beautiful cottage. I needed some time to be quiet and rest. It was the perfect place for what I needed! I will be back for sure!
