Quick stop in Marbella

Good location, possible to find free overnight street parking.

Very humid, very poor ventilation in the room and especially the bathroom. A/C unit heating is very weak, even on max settings.

Location in the old town was ideal. Beach 10 minutes walk and lots of restaurants and cafes in the area.

No idea where my room was. Just given the key. 50 €deposit was well over the top. Nothing in the room worth 50€! Nice terrace area but cast iron seats with no cushions.

Marvelous Marbella

Excellent location, everything in walking distance. Very close to a park for dog walking. Very clean and staff friendly and helpful. Bathroom facilities were very good....hot shower🙂

The bedroom would have been better if decorated in the Spanish style with better artwork. I was in Room 10. Not really a problem for everyone??

The worst part of this hotel is the staff. At check-in we were met by a Ukrainian woman who introduced herself as the administrator, and her behavior was absolutely unacceptable for someone working with guests. She was rude several times, crossed the boundaries of professional communication, and created an extremely hostile first impression that ruined the entire stay. On top of that, the room was dirty, with peeling paint on the walls, strange writings on the wardrobes, an unpleasant smell, and bed linen and towels that were clearly not fresh. Cleanliness overall left much to be desired, and the soundproofing was so bad that we could hear everything from the neighboring rooms. For the price they charge, this experience was beyond disappointing — the quality does not match the cost at all. I would strongly advise against booking this place.

The location is excellent, in the historic center, 5 minutes from Avenida del Mar and Paseo Maritmo. I stayed in room 13, which was clean and had a good bed. The air conditioning was perfect for a hot summer. As expected for a hostal.

- the bathroom is small, probably a problem for those over 1.70m. The shower isn't the strongest, but it's okay. - Even though you're on the second floor, you can hear everything going on in the rooms nearby.

The location is amazing! 5 mins to the beach. Really sweet historical building and decorated to true Spanish decor. The Cortez tapas place on the corner is delicious. Special shout out to Oxana who did my laundry and had really good English. She was lovely.

If I had to fault something it would just be that the rooms were a little small and musty smelling when we first arrived but we got comfortable quickly.

Rooms are super small. There is poor light in the room as well as electricity sockets. Windows are not closing well, so you hear people, living in the hotel, going back from the parties at 5am. Nice location, close to everywhere

So close to everything right in the old town. They let me pet their adorable cat and dog. The room was really clean and the staff were constantly cleaning the bathrooms. Nice to have a refrigerator.

Could use some more cups. I had one that was cracked on the edges.

Good

The hotel is in a very nice location, there are a lot of bars and restaurants around. The beach, is not far as well. The room we stayed in was small but comfortable. The shower room was newly refurbished and clean. If you are on a budget, you will find a microwave and kettle in the little terrace/yard.

The only thing we didn't like were bed sheets. It had mattress cover, which was dirty and fitted sheet was too small and tight on the bed, so it would come off at night and roll under your body, causing a total mess. We would fix the bed and it would last like 30mins and come off again. We just gave up and slept in the mess.

Room is not the same as on the photo, it's really small and dark. You go to the bathroom though terrace, so it's pretty cold. Walls are very thin. You can hear everything. But the most important thing that you must show your CVV of your card. it's not safe!

It was just so much better than you could hope for, as even though the pictures and descriptions were accurate you never know till you get there.

Perfect for a short stay.

The hotel was in a perfect location in the heart of the Old Town and walking distance to the beach. The staff were really helpful and the rooms were exceptionally clean.

I’d suggest upgrading to a balcony room if staying more than one night.

locality was perfect and I will use again. Car parking will always be a challenge but I found a good location not too far from Aduar and I was happy. I would not use the nearest multi storey one as I had my car broken into and trashed on a previous visit to Marbella and no one seemed to care

Nice stay in good location, had pretty much everything we needed.

Nice idyllic location, close to shops, restaurants and bars.

Reception wasn't manned when we arrived. Too many rules(although this was also a good thing). Decor is a little dated but fitting in with the traditional feel of the area.
