Hotel Mediterraneo Sorrento

The high quality service and facilities matched the cost. If I'm spending the money...I expect it and that high quality was there...from the introduction of the facility, the comfort of the beds and service in the rooms, fresh squeezed juice upon our arrival, to the guy at the pool laying our towel down for us to reservations when needed and the beautiful breakfast buffet on the terrace. Beautiful.

That high quality service was not experienced at the rooftop bar and the food was also not a match at the rooftop bar. The view and vibe are excellent but that's where it stopped. Also, I would have appreciated an option of a to-go breakfast of sorts since we had to depart so early and missed our morning breakfast. Additionally, we had a private driver for tours who was not treated with respect by a guy at the front desk. We didn't appreciate that. He had been in touch with us, we were coming right down and he was made to love the vehicle which created delay in our departure. It was unnecessary and not respectful to him.

Great selection of food. Fabulous view of the Bay of Naples and Vesuvius. The staff was exceptional. Very professional, and customer focused. They made you feel special!

We returned here having stayed 25 years ago. The pool was lovely well maintained. Very courteous friendly staff. Breakfast was excellent. Room was very clean, well maintained, lovely view. Complimentary water every day in your room nice touch. Easy safe parking. Loved the yoga session

It’s expensive but pretty much what you pay for a hotel like this in Sorrento. The gym needs more weights for women as lowest weight was 7.5kgs and there was only one of those. I would have liked a small fridge in the room.

Cannot fault the staff and service, they were excellent

I'm surprised the hotel is a 5 star to be honest. All the facilities were average, rooms very small, and value for money was simply way off. For €900 per night, I expected an awful lot more for my money than what we experienced. Breakfast was okay, nothing amazing, and the hot food options were limited and very small servings. Do not order the club sandwich from the pool area either, absolutely awful.
