Location
In the heart of the Dordogne, in a quiet area, this charming holiday home is located on private land, surrounded by a large garden of 2445 m2. with plenty of privacy. The house has a large, partly covered, west-facing terrace with a panoramic view of the Dordogne valley. The private swimming pool (8x4 meters) surrounded by a terrace and has garden furniture, sun beds and umbrellas. The interior of the house is taken care of.
Layout
Spacious living room with patio doors to the covered terrace. There is a t. v. (satellite) and radio / CD / DVD player. INTERNET / WIFI PRESENT
The (small) kitchen is very practical and fully equipped with a. Fridge / freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, small oven and coffee maker.
A bedroom with a double bed (140x200) + a baby bed (with a duvet) and a door to the terrace. Two bedrooms (1 with sliding doors to the terrace) with two single beds (90x200). Bathroom with double sink and shower. Separate toilet. There is enough cupboard space in the bedrooms. All rooms are on the ground floor. The house has electric heating.
Surroundings
To enjoy the beauty of the region and the many possibilities for excursions, hiking, canoeing, etc., "Les Charrues" is an ideal starting point. The village of Les Eyzies at approx. 12 km. in the middle of the Périgord Noir region, the heart of many cultural-historical sights and prehistoric caves with beautiful wall drawings.
Hikers have a great choice to follow routes (Grande Randonnées). You can take canoe trips on the Dordogne and Vézère rivers. Route maps are available at the local tourism office. Sarlat, a beautiful medieval town with a beautifully restored old town, pleasant terraces and a market on Wednesday morning and Saturday (all day) is about 20 minutes away by car. Furthermore, there are numerous towns and villages in the vicinity with sights and fantastic restaurants, markets and flea markets. In St. Cyprians, at approx. 5 km. is a. a large supermarket and on Sunday morning there is a nice market. There are many castles and caves in the immediate area.

The house is situated on the edge of a bourg on a private plot of land of 2500m², without other guests or owner. Swimming pool 8 x 4 meters with terrace and sun beds. Partially covered terrace 14 x 3 meters at the house with views over the valley. Deposit 400 euros.

A wonderful week spent in this superbly situated family home. There is every amenity you could need and the living area is more spacious than the photos suggest. The veranda is fantastic for eating outside, whether sunshine or rain. The pool area is so lovely with the most beautiful views. The whole place is peaceful and relaxing - perfect to ‘get away from it all’ but also nice and convenient for supermarkets, castles and canoeing on the river. Would definitely return if in the region in the future. A lovely holiday, thank you!

Maison au calme, vue dont on ne se lassait pas depuis la terrasse qui a été appréciée (par temps de pluie ou de soleil)
Belle piscine sans vis à vis (vu la météo nous n'avons pu en profiter qu'une journée. un regret, qu'elle ne soit pas chauffée)
intérieur de maison à rafraichir, toute petite cuisine, mais qui est très bien équipée, rien ne manque!
situation idéale pour visiter la région

Emplacement de la maison dans un joli village avec une vue splendide sur la campagne environnante très calme. Proche (3km) de toutes les commodités. Maison très bien équipée (seul petit bémol la toute petite cuisine) et piscine fantastique. Excellent accueil de Rose et Albert. Nous reviendrons dans cette maison si nous en avons l'occasion.

Heel rustig gelegen vakantiewoning met zwembad. Genoten van et prachtige uitzicht met zons opkomst en zonsondergang.
Alles dicht in buurt om inkopen te doen.
Leuke markt gedaan, kajak dicht in de buurt.
Woning compleet uitgerust.
Kortom prachtige vakantie gehad.
