Kot Dunara - A 16th Century Castle near Jodhpur

Esperienza davvero bellissima. Kot Dunara è un luogo unico, immerso nell’India rurale, dove si ha davvero la sensazione di soggiornare in un posto fuori dal tempo. La nostra camera era molto ampia e confortevole, la struttura pulita e ben tenuta e anche la piscina curata, perfetta per rilassarsi dopo una giornata di visite. Assolutamente da non perdere il safari organizzato dalla struttura: una bellissima occasione per scoprire il territorio, i villaggi e la vita rurale dei dintorni. Un soggiorno particolare e autentico, che ricorderemo con grande piacere e che consiglierei a chi cerca qualcosa di diverso dai classici hotel delle città del Rajasthan.

Firstly I would like to say this may not be a five star hotel but it is a five star experience. Kot Dunara Set in a small village where you can happily wander and enjoy the every day going on’s of rural village life in a Rajastani village. Everythings authentic down to Kot Dunara Castle which has a rich history in itself and has been lovingly restored by the owner Mr Singh .village tours are available to outer villages with morning tea which is also another experience in itself. After an afternoon walking the village you can enjoy some of the best food in Rajastan a glass of wine and a chat to other guests. Relax to the peace and quiet of Kot Dunara. This hotel is spotlessly clean with modern amenities set in old world charm and fabulous food. Mr Singh helped us with transport to Jodhpur which made everything very easy. This is one of my most favourite places in Rajastan.
