The property is safe, and located at a safe location. You can get public transportation nearby, with a walk of 450-700 meters.

I would love to see more food options in the restaurant menu and breakfast buffet. The bathroom was a bit small too - but clean and manageable.

People at the reception were very friendly and nice. The room was good, as it should be. Beds are also good size. The shower is perfect.

There was a power failure, which resulted in not working elevators. We were staying on the 8th floor... can happen, but it was a big climb. Bathroom we found a little bit old fashioned. Could deserve an upgrade.

Room are spacious and very comfortable. Even too big for solo traveler.

Toilets are not big enough, especially shower cabin.

For the reception team...they are able to communicate well in English. They are also able to advise on the best & cost effective mode of transport into Dusseldorf and nearby Town of Neuss. They shown me the map of tram route that is nearby few tourist attraction. Location.... Its located within a "working buildings" area. If your office is located around there...then its a good location. The nearest tram station is about 20mins walk away. If you may be looking for a shopping complex (rhinepark centre).. Its about 30mins walk away. Food.... Breakfast spread is ok. Having bread, cereals, milk & coffee & tea & juice selection. On protein intake....the selection is good. Lunch&Dinner menu selection is OK.. Not too many dishes...but the taste is good. Opens till 10pm. Around 8pm are their busy time as that's when all the business travellers are back from office. Accommodation... Rooms are not too well lid for those whom is planning to work on their laptop through the night. But few lamp stands are available to help with. Rooms are cooling during winter and early spring. For travellers during summer...each room is equipped with an air condition. Pillow and mattress are comfortable. Coffee and tea facilities are provided but not drinking water. You gotta buy them. There is a nice sofa seating area..comfortable enough to eat on if you are planning to order food in. Housekeeping team... They come and make up your room daily and changes the towels used daily. If you are on the environmentally friendly patron..do hang up the towel for they know you are planning to re-use.

LACK OF SECURITY issue... My partner lost his laptop bag that consist of his laptop and his travel passport while having breakfast at the cafe. Other patrons are also leaving their bags at the hotel area while they complete the ir business at both cafe and lobby area, yet their belongs are still there. When we approach the hotel team for CCTV footage.. They informed my partner that the CCTV is only pointed toward the reception area. The common area and the cafe entrance or cafe area has NO CCTV. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE!!! for a big establishment chain like Holiday Inn. When my partner approached the hotel management team... His/her answer was only an unapologetic or non sympathetic answer of "you have made a police report, hence there is nothing much that we can do." There was no signs or even an effort to help you to ease the situation or form of compensation. My partner was lucky that he has his German colleague to help him to settle few of the major issue at the police station. We feel this lack of empathy is what we are most disappointed with.
