Rooms were good but slightly on small side for a stay of more than 2 nights.

It was just before the Ironman event in Aix-en-Provence. When I tried to reserve parking, I discovered that it was no longer possible. It was also impossible to drive to the hotel reception due to access restrictions. As a result, I had to park about 800 meters away and carry my luggage to the hotel. What disappointed me most was that the hotel did not inform me about these difficulties in advance. I only learned about the situation when I attempted to arrange parking. The only information I received was a voice message, which I was unable to locate until it was too late to make alternative arrangements. There was also no gesture of goodwill or compensation for the inconvenience—not even something as simple as offering a complimentary coffee. Had I known about these access and parking issues beforehand, I would probably have cancelled my reservation. Dragging heavy suitcases from a distant parking lot was not how I imagined starting my stay, especially when I was looking forward to a pleasant evening in the city center. The hotel itself is nice, and I have no complaints about the property. However, the parking situation, the lack of clear communication, and the absence of any empathy from the staff significantly affected my overall experience.
