Showers need better cleaning

Good location, just in front of the Beyazit Mosque and Grand Bazaar. The staff was helpful and kind. They were available for any inquiry or help. The hotel serves breakfast and has good facilities, such as a SPA and pool, which is unique. The room is spacious, compared to other rooms in Istanbul.

The bed was not comfortable. Even though breakfast is served, there is no variety in the food served. Hot water was not always available. It takes some time to get barely warm water. Even though the hotel is generally clean, the bathroom needs some renovation to keep it cleaner.

Hard to beat the location. You step out and you are minutes from the Grand Bazaar, with Beyazıt, Sultanahmet and the tram all within an easy walk, so we barely needed transport for five days. The staff were welcoming and helpful from check-in onwards, quick to answer questions and point us towards places to eat. The room was comfortable and well kept, and breakfast was a proper spread, plenty to set you up before a long day of walking.

The air-conditioning was the weak point. It struggled to bring the room down to a comfortable temperature, which matters in early September Istanbul. That aside, nothing much to complain about.

The location

The 'spa' is just a pool that is too cold to be indoors and a sauna that only reaches 40°. The room is not very clean and there are no healthy options at breakfast other than fruit. The photos do not do justice to the current state of the property.
