About this cottage rental
La Chatarrería de Ferreros is built over the old scrap shop from Otero de Herreros and its surroundings, at the foot of the mountain called “La Mujer Muerta”. Decoration is based in antique elements, some of them belonging to the old house-such as the court, conserving the French kitchen of the scrap shop- and others that have been searched and carefully restored during more than two years.
The name Otero de Herreros, previously "Ferreros" is due to the old roman iron mines still existing today. The house keeps both the essence of its origin and the essence of the village. All the rooms are decorated according to the materiel used by the scrap merchants: Bronze, Lead, Iron... metals baptising every of the living rooms and making them unique.

Llevo utilizando casas rurales desde hace 15 años y es la mejor con diferencia de todas en las que he visitado solo decir que es escepcional en todo los dueños fantasticos pendientes de que no faltara nada, la casa equipada hasta el minimo detalle y con menage de calidadad el frigorifico espectacular bueno que decir..
Solo me queda decir que muchas gracias a Matilde y a su pareja por la atencion recibida .

Estuvimos un grupo de amigos celebrando una boda en una finca cerca de la casa. La impresion que nos hemos llevado es increiblemente buena. Y por parte de los propietarios, todo fueron facilidades.

Limpia, cómoda y acogedora. La casa está super limpia, es muy cómoda, ya que todas las habitaciones tienen cada una su baño, y está montada que no la falta detalle. La calefacción de 10, a pesar del frio que hacia fuera. En una palabra, estás como en tu casa.

hemos pasado un fin de semana maravilloso, la casa es preciosa, el patio muy bonito, todas las habitaciones son confortables, Matilde y Alfonso son encantadores, recomendamos.
