Appena si apre la porta...WOW! Appartamento carinissimo nel sottotetto di un palazzo storico, accogliente, pulito, arredato con gusto. Tutto è essenziale, ma non manca nulla, perfetto per due persone. Il centro di Colmar è raggiungibile a piedi in 10 minuti; nonostante la posizione nel centro storico, il quartiere è silenzioso e tranquillo. Ci sono quattro piani di scale da fare, ma per noi non è stato un problema (la scala d'epoca è meravigliosa!). Check-in e check-out in autonomia, la proprietaria è comunque disponibile via whatsapp per qualsiasi necessità.

L'appartamento non è climatizzato, ma si sono due ventilatori per appoggio a pavimento, senza funzione swing. Almeno per la camera da letto suggerirei un ventilatore a piantana con funzione swing, in modo da creare una maggiore circolazione dell'aria nelle notti più calde.

I liked the small apt very much, was very clean, with attention to detail, could find everything needed, including in the kitchenette! Good location, safe, right at the edge of the old town with all the sight attractions! Also near a lovely park, and a few supermarkets in walking dist. Train station can also be reached by walking when you don't carry all your luggage :)

The downside was that it is right under the roof, and I was also very unlucky to be there exactly during the terible heat wave in the 2nd week of June that comprised most of Europe. The apt has NO airco, only 2 floor fans that don't cool the air... Also, the 2 rooms cannot be properly aired through the small windows, which a few also don't open completely. Insects screens at the windows would be v. useful! The building is at about 2-3 hundred meters from a Cathedral that rings its bells every hour, including at night!! So, if you're a sensitive sleeper, it will spoil your nights...
