About this house rental
House with garden located in a quiet place near the access roads and shops, 10 minutes walk from the bus lines and the train station, 10 minutes drive from the beach. A large wooden terrace with garden furniture allows you to enjoy the beautiful days, a ping-pong table is available. Uncovered parking inside the property. In the basement, possibility of using the washing machine, there is also a pantry. On the ground floor, kitchen with high table, dishwasher 6 persons, built-in oven, 3 gas burners; fridge ; living room ; dining room ; bedroom with dressing room; large bathroom and WC apart. The bed (160) is equipped with twin mattresses (2 x 80) shape memory and two electric bed bases to adapt his sleeping plan. On the first floor mezzanine with library, piano corner, two bedrooms (beds 140), one with shower room and separate WC. The sofa of the library is convertible into a bed of 140. Possibility to provide sheets and towels.

We had a lovely stay in this beautiful family home. It's about 45-50 mins walk to the centre of Biarritz, but only 5 mins or so walk to the train station, from which multiple buses run to the town centre on a regular basis, so really easy to get around.
We were delayed on arrival due to traffic, but Christine left the keys out for us and checked that we'd arrived, leaving a lovely welcome pack in the fridge, and helpful instructions for using all the appliances.
The only slight issue we had was initially not being able to use the air conditioning, which had been disabled. We'd specifically booked this house because it had air-conditioning in each bedroom and when we mentioned this, Christine helpfully told us how to re-enable it. We didn't need to use it much, but it was helpful as we acclimatized for the first few days.
Lovely accommodation and great communication with the hosts - would recommend!

Wir haben das Haus für wunderschöne Ausflüge zum Strand, in die Stadt und zu großem Teil auch für die Umgegend genutzt. Sowie auch einfach zur Entspannung auf der Terrasse. Für alles ist es sehr gut geeignet. Die Vermieterin ist sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und unkompliziert. Für Familien sehr zu empfehlen!
Einziges Manko ist der Verkehr Richtung Stadt zu bestimmen Zeiten. Es geht zuweilen gar nichts mehr.
Hier empfiehlt sich, den Bus vorzuziehen, der auch die gängigen Strände und die Innenstadt deutlich zügiger anfährt. So spart man sich auch die Parkplatzsuche, und die Haltestelle ist fußläufig vom Haus gut zu erreichen.

Nous avons passé de très bonnes vacances dans cette maison très confortable et parfaitement équipée. La grande terrasse bien exposée donne sur les bois et un très joli jardin. Tous les commerces sont à proximité et le bord de mer et les plages à 5minutes en voiture. A recommander sans réserve pour de belles vacances en famille, de plus les propriétaires sont charmants et très disponibles pour vous fournir toutes les informations utiles.

Merci à Christine et Jean-Pierre pour leur gentillesse et la qualité de leur accueil. Ils nous laissent leur maison avec tout l'équipement pour passer de très belles vacances. La cuisine est très bien équipée et les couteaux parfaitement aiguisés, la plancha fonctionne à merveille et nous avons pu profiter du très beau potager qui a été d'une grande générosité en tomates :-). La proximité des dock avec son lot d'excellents commerçants nous a permis de nous approvisionner quotidiennement en produits frais et de qualité. Pour les golfeur, le club d'Arcangues à moins de 10' est une bénédiction. L'arrêt de bus à côté de la maison permet de se rendre au centre-ville facilement. Enfin, seuls petits bémol peut-être, la présence assidue de moustiques en fin de journée et la circulation incessante à laquelle nous ne sommes pas habitués. Une belle adresse dans tous les cas pour passer un séjour agréable à Biarritz et dans la région.
