About this house rental

Sweeping coastal views, north facing sun, wildlife aplenty and the Otway National Park at your doorstep – Nature’s Edge is a welcome escape from city life.

Comprising 5 bedrooms (sleeps 14) all with coastal views and two living zones, Nature’s Edge is an ideal getaway for 2 – 3 families or large groups. It is located on a large block that backs onto the Otway National Park with beach and coastal views - the best of both worlds. The kids will embrace the outdoors playing on the trampoline, swings and climbing equipment. Inside there is plenty of fun playing board games and table tennis. Nature’s Edge is frequently visited by native furry friends such as Koala’s, kangaroo’s and king parrots.

For adults escape to the balcony to enjoy the expansive coastal views whilst spotting the illusive black cockatoo, king parrots and baby wrens. . Inside, retreat to the warmth of the woodfire. Enjoy rambling through the property; enjoying the spoils from the trees and veg garden. . As the sun begins to set, crank up the barbeque or wood fired pizza oven and settle into a glass of wine around the newly refurbished outdoor fire pit whilst looking out to sea listening to the sounds of crashing waves.

Nature’s edge is a gem of a property and needs to be shared with family, friends, colleagues and groups.

The surf beach is an easy five minute walk where aside from swimming and surfing you can enjoy long walks rambling through the rock pools. A 20 minute drive down the great ocean road brings you to Apollo Bay or Lorne for the shops and cafes. We had a long weekend in Kennett River. The property was very comfortable and the view was amazing. We loved that we could bring our 2 Border Collies and as a party of 9 there was plenty of room for all. Communication and all instructions were great. We loved Kennett River and will definitely be back. Thank you.

This house had some amazing features, especially for kids: trampoline, cubby house, pizza oven, fire pit, and firewood supplied! Our kids ran round outside never bored - like having a mini farm to ourselves. Great views too! But it felt like it really needed work. Dishwasher was clunky, oven terrible and cheap, cobwebs on ceiling, mice in the kitchen at night, table tennis table missing nuts making it really dangerous. House generally needed a paint and repair outside - and the firepit area was a jungle of weeds and charcoal. Furniture could do with an update - for the price you pay, it felt cheap. Had a great time, but i'd definitely be looking for alternatives should we go to the area again.
