Welcome to Limbo Cottage - the west side of 'Gumbo Limbo' duplex. Located just 7 houses from the Gulf beaches of Anna Maria Island and a street away from downtown Holmes Beach. This ground level half duplex has one master suite with King bed and a second bedroom with 2 twin beds located right by the main bathroom. Enter the home into the comfortable living area and head through the kitchen to the private patio to enjoy the heated pool, outdoor shower and grill surrounded by tropical landscaping. The retro style kitchen offers plenty of seating for easy entertaining. Enjoy a day at the beach with provided beach wagon, chairs and umbrella. Or, take a short walk to downtown Holmes Beach and check out resteraunts, shopping and the marina. Hop on the free island trolley and discover all Anna Maria Island has to offer!

I can’t say enough good things about this property and our stay. Everything about it exceeded our expectations. The property is exceptionally well managed, well appointed, well maintained, and well designed and decorated, it’s obvious the owners and management team truly care about every detail. I brought our 18-year-old dog with us so we could enjoy some special time together, along with our other dog to keep him company. Since I don’t normally travel with our dogs, I was honestly a little nervous about staying in a pet-friendly rental. I didn’t need to be. This was, without question, one of the cleanest places I’ve ever stayed. There wasn’t a trace of pet odors or anything that made it feel like a pet-friendly property. It was immaculate. Spotless! We loved the pool and privacy while still being steps from the beach. We loved being able to easily get around to great restaurants, and everything we wanted to see and do by renting a golf cart for the week. The location couldn’t have been better. (Don’t miss breakfast at Minnie’s cafe across the street. Totally worth the ridiculous wait!) I had asked a lot of questions before our stay, and needed some instructions on something, and they were there within minutes. The customer service was some of the best! We will definitely be back without or without pets!

Limbo Cottage is absolutely one of the best rental properties we stayed in. Perfect size, layout, updated decor and the private landscaping makes you feel you’re in the tropics. The walk to the beach is exactly 7 houses. Great restaurants in walking distance and trolley stop is at the top of street. Well done definitely reserved for 2024 and hope to stay for 2 weeks!
