Our countryside favourite

We've stayed here 4 times now and i'm sure that we'll be back again. Beautiful, peaceful, comfortable and relaxing yet conveniently located on the A34 giving easy access to places of interest in Cheshire and Staffordshire. A short 10 minute walk along a countryside public path takes you to Astbury, home to a beautiful church, country pub restaurant, and Glebe Farm offering animal feeding, tea room, farm rides, and more. The cottage is well furnished and has a fully equiped kitchen if you want to self cater. The two bedrooms clean and comfortable with towels and sheets provided. Having a swimming pool is a rare luxury for farm cottages and provides a perfect mesns for kids to burn their surplus energy. We stayed for 10 days this time and we left wishing that we could stay longer.

Perfect country cottage

The living and bedroom spaces are really well thought out. The furniture is very comfortable, especially the beds. The pool was a lovely temperature and room well heated and lit.

Lovely stay, great location, highly recommended!

Location is fab, easy access to so many great places, just off a good A road but feels like you are out in the country. Really lovely couple who own the business, great communication and right on hand if you need anything but not obtrusive. Swimming pool a bonus. Not huge but great. So handy to nip to out your patio door! Very clean, comfortable and pristine accommodation. Bathroom facilities excellent with powerful shower. Would definitely recommend.

Slightly small fridge/ freezer box. Would not be able to fit 1 weeks shopping in if we had got delivery which we sometimes do. Would have preferred 2nd bedroom as twin / zip-link but that just suits our family better

The cottage provided us with the perfect quiet getaway with our 2 kids. They loved the pool!

The pool was heated, indoors and private - perfect for our young family. The location was quiet and scenic. The hosts were friendly and had great communication.

It was not made clear that the pool would be shared with three other cottages. Thankfully they were all empty at the time of our visit so nothing to worry about for us!

Truly great accommodation, quiet and close to everything you need

The message to say when it was ready early was very welcome. The pool was a great place to cool off inside and we really used it a lot. The accommodation was in really good condition and a real home from home. I absolutely cannot fault it in any way and I wouldn't want to. So glad we found it as we had separate bedrooms rather than sharing as you have to in a hotel

Fantastic Stay

We had a wonderful girls weekend reunion after not seeing each other over lockdown. We couldn’t fault the accommodation. It was a perfect location for us as we were travelling from different parts of the country. We had lovely walks in the local area and a fantastic time relaxing in the cottage catching up. It was very comfortable and the pool was an added bonus. We will no doubt be back!

Well equipped. Smart design. Comfortable large bed. Two loos. Nice to have the small indoor swimming pool to use. Handy for local country walks.
